Dreams…

Yesterday, when I posted ’s last lecture, I felt something that has kept my mind thinking ever since.

In our lives, we have many day-by-day goals, either at work, personal or simple errands we need to run to get our stuff done. In all thisĀ  jungle of things that we have to do, there is little time to think and really esperiment feelings of what we desire or dream of what we would like. – interestingly enough, Randy described very clearly a list of childhood dreams.

From his lecture, the two things that struck me were, 1st. the fact that he remembered so freshly his list of childhood dreams, and 2nd. such list of wonderful childhood wishes, and still the present willingness to accomplish them now.

To a very simple question like what are you childhood dreams, today I have some problem answering. Because of it I have decided to devote just a bit of the little time I have to leverage and find within my childhood memories what were such dreams and, of those, how many still remain and what are the possible new adulthood dreams.

I feel a bit strange, because with our busy lives, I would have thought that the question was a trivial one very easly answered…brrrrrrr guess not so fast.

bis spaeter!

the last lecture…

… one professor of Carnegie Mellon who is diagnosed cancer gives his so called “last lecture” speaking of his childhood dreams and how he faces the situation, or as he says, how we play the hand with the cards we are dealt. The video may be a bit long, BUT there is nothing in it to be missed. Enjoy!

The Pursuit of happiness…

this simple statement is not always, for various reasons, so simple to follow, BUT when you see how the character faces the situation he faces… any problem seems infimous. Even if the movie is not the latest release, the message can not go unseen: “When you have a dream, GO GET IT, PERIOD!”
